Overview

AutoSpare Hub connects customers with auto parts shops, mechanics/garages, and tow services. Service providers may pay listing fees (for example, via mobile money). We collect only the information needed to provide the service securely and reliably.

Location note: We do not collect background location.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

a) Account Information

Name, phone number, email address, role type (Customer / Shop / Mechanic / Tow), and login credentials.

b) Business & Listing Information

Business name, services offered, service areas, listing photos, descriptions, contact/WhatsApp, and availability.

c) Location Data

Approximate or GPS location (only while using the app) to show nearby services and improve matching.

d) Payment Information

We do not store mobile money PINs. Payment providers may share transaction reference, amount, and status for verification.

Provider listings are shown to customers. Customer details may be shared when contacting a provider or sending a request.

We share only what’s necessary to process payments and verify listing/subscription status.

Used for hosting, push notifications, reliability monitoring, and performance analytics.

d) Legal & Safety

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users, our service, or the public.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission, access controls, and secure storage.

No system is 100% secure. Please use a strong password and do not share your login details.
